The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Tourism and Environment, Acting Minister, Mr Marcos da Cruz, accompanied by the General Coordinator of MCAE, Mr Jorge Rui de Carvalho Martins, participated in a public hearing with Committee D of the National Parliament.
The public hearing aimed to enhance institutional dialogue and coordination between Committee D of the National Parliament, MCAE, MTA and the entities under their supervision.
The public hearing served as an important forum for strengthening institutional dialogue between Committee D of the National Parliament and Government bodies through the exchange of views, clarification of issues, and the presentation of information concerning institutional programmes, activities and responsibilities.
The meeting also reflected the role of Committee D of the National Parliament in exercising oversight and promoting transparency and public accountability, thereby ensuring that relevant information concerning the implementation of Government policies and programmes receives institutional attention and discussion.
The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Tourism and Environment and representatives of the supervised entities participated in the hearing.
The public hearing formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen communication and cooperation among State institutions, with the aim of promoting transparent, responsive governance oriented towards the interests of the people and national development.
