The Coordinating General of the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs (MCAE), Jorge Martins, participated in a public hearing with Commission D of the National Parliament, alongside the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Nino Pereira, and representatives from the Ministry of Finance and CCITL.
The purpose of the Coordinating General participation was to provide an opinion on the Draft Export Promotion Law (PPL No. 20/VI/2ª). This law focuses on stimulating new export activities, strengthening private sector participation, and simplifying procedures to reduce bureaucracy. It also provides fiscal and administrative incentives and establishes a “single window” to facilitate the export process.
