The Office of the Vice Prime Minister (VPM) and the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs through the General Coordinator, Jorge Rui de Carvalho Martins, participates in the Handover Ceremony of the Director and Head of Department of IADE.

In his remarks, the Coordinator General stresses that public office is not simply a bureaucratic position, but a significant responsibility to translate policies into concrete actions that benefit the people. He emphasized that professionalism and integrity are the foundation of true public service—not just a title or position, but a way to treat everyone with fairness and dignity.

He also expressed his appreciation to the leaders who have completed their mandate, stressing that this is not the end of their responsibilities, but rather the beginning of a new journey of work to be carried out in service of the nation.

On behalf of MCAE, the General Coordinator expressed his gratitude for the dedication, hard work, and contribution of the entire IADE team that has strengthened the institution to date. He asked all parties to remain committed to work with honesty and enthusiasm, for the advancement of the nation and the welfare of the people.
