Meanwhile, the Cambodian delegation also shared their success experience regarding the development of strategic sectors that have contributed to their economic growth.<br>According to Vice-PM Francisco Kalbuadi Lay, The Cambodian delegation&#8217;s visit epitomizes a seminal stride in bolstering the extant robust bilateral synergy between the two nations.<br>&#8220;The Cambodian Minister of Communications visited Timor-Leste to see and strengthen cooperation, particularly in the digital area. \u2018\u2019I congratulate the Ministry of Transport and Communications for taking a step forward, especially in the digital sector. This shows that Timor-Leste is moving forward in digital transformation, as seen in practical examples like the digitalization system for driver licenses and vehicle registration,&#8221; said Vice-Prime Minister.<br>&#8220;Timor-Leste and Cambodia have a robust bilateral relationship.&#8221; The former Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, is a good friend of President Dr. Jos\u00e9 Ramos-Horta and Prime Minister Kay Rala Xanana Gusm\u00e3o. That&#8217;s why Cambodia continues to show its commitment to supporting Timor-Leste, particularly in technical areas and human resource capacity,&#8221; he declared.<br>The Vice-Prime Minister added that, bilateral cooperation will also expand to other important sectors that are pillars of national development, including education.<br>At this moment, cooperation isn&#8217;t limited to digitalization only. The Cambodian delegation will also meet with the Minister of Education to assess opportunities and challenges where Cambodia can support Timor-Leste, particularly in technology development and digitalization in the education sector. &#8221; I believe that, in the future, cooperation between the two nations will thrive and yield even better results. concluded the Vice-PMDuring the meeting with the Vice-Prime Minister, accompanied by the General Coordinator (MCEA), Mr. Jorge Rui Carvalho Martins, and the Minister of Transport and Communications (MTC), Miguel Marques Gon\u00e7alves Manetelu, accompanied by the President of the Tourism Authority of Timor-Leste, a public institution (ATTL), Mr. Virg\u00edlio Smith, and the technical team.
