Deputy Prime Minister (PM) and Minister Coordinator for Economic Affairs (MCAE), and Minister of Tourism and Environment (MTA), Francisco Kalbuadi Lay, received a courtesy visit from the Regional Security Officer Chasen Peabody, Mr. Christopher Morehouse, who is also the Minister of Economic Affairs and Environment. The Embassy of the United States of America (USA), in Faról-Dili, received a courtesy visit for a meeting to discuss the mechanisms that the Government can do to ensure the circulation of poultry products from the United States to retail stores in Timor-Leste, because the United States of America plans to increase imports of meat with good quality, so as to improve safety food in Timor-Leste.

From the Embassy in Timor-Leste, also expressed concern about the process of documents in the port, especially documents for containers that are limited to each import more than 5 or up to 30, also asked to improve the licensing process in the import part so as to increase the time, so as not to damage the products.
